Just Another Random Monday....

I love randomness.
When people say random things, when random events occur, random facts, a random group of people hanging out, random thoughts, or a random act of kindness. Randomness is this momentary diversion to the unexpected....it keeps things interesting. In some ways I thrive on the little random things in life.
I received an email from a friend several months ago that was just that....random. As I was looking through my inbox today I ran across it again. This is what it said....
I love how you always call.
I love that you ask the hard questions.
I love that you have enlightened me to good recipes, magazines, and blogs.
I love that you are sensitive.
I love how you care enough to drop things, and come just be with me.
I love that you love hulu and youtube videos!
I love that you fight for my marriage with us.
I love that you don't settle.
I love your gifts of discernment and encouragement.
I love your style.
I love how you talk with your hands.
I love that you are my friend.
I love your LAUGH!!
Just so you know. Have a wonderful day.
I love this email. It refreshes my heart. It encourages my soul. It reminds me that God has graced me with deep community. It reminds me to be thankful for who He has made me to be...because sometimes it's easy to get caught up in who everyone else is. It reminds me that I am loved.
I love random acts of love. I loved finding this email again. I hope I run across it again several months from now because I know it will make me feel loved then too. It prompted me to to send a few of these emails myself. Sometimes I get so caught up in life, or myself, or all the things I feel need to be done...that I forget to stop for a minute and tell people the important things.
So give a random act of love today...it will make someone's day! :)
